Mooshod Bakare Foundation Unveils ₦100m Empowerment Fund as Ex lawmaker Declares Reps Ambition

The Moshood Bakare Foundation has rolled out a landmark ₦100 million empowerment initiative designed to boost businesses, improve education, and enhance healthcare services across Oyun, Offa, and Ifelodun Local Government Areas of Kwara State.

The launch event attracted a massive turnout of beneficiaries, community stakeholders, and PDP members. Attendees witnessed the distribution of business grants, school materials, and medical support packages. In addition, Hon. Moshood Bakare, Chairman of the Foundation, extended goodwill gestures by providing clothing and cash gifts to all PDP ward coordinators and women leaders across the three LGAs—acknowledging their role in strengthening grassroots participation and driving community progress.
A staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Bakare reaffirmed his consistent commitment to people-centered service. He reminded the gathering of his previous efforts, such as sponsoring over 500 students for JAMB registration, underscoring that his passion for service predates any political ambition.
In a defining moment, Hon. Bakare officially declared his aspiration to represent Oyun, Offa, and Ifelodun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the PDP.
“I have been in politics for a long time and I remain committed to my party, the PDP. My focus has always been on real, practical solutions for our people. This empowerment project is not a campaign gimmick—it is a reflection of what I stand for,” he said.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement as PDP women coordinators and members openly expressed gratitude and pledged their loyalty.
One of the coordinators, speaking on behalf of the women leaders, remarked: “This is the kind of leadership we have been waiting for. Hon. Bakare has shown us that action speaks louder than words. We thank him and we are ready to stand by him.”
Other party faithful echoed similar sentiments, urging residents to throw their support behind a leader who has consistently proven his ability to deliver and inspire.
