2019 Hajj: Kwara Pilgrims Board receives award of excellence
The Kwara Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board had received an award of excellence for being the best performing pilgrims board that catered for pilgrims needs during the 2019 Hajj operation.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh received the award in Abuja at the event organised by the independent Hajj reporters of Nigeria
Speaking during the event Tunde-Jimoh said the award was in recognition of the hospitality in terms of feeding, accommodation transport and other logistics rendered by the board to the pilgrims who travelled with the board during the 2019 pilgrimage.
The Executive Secretary who dedicated the award to the Kwara Government attributed the success recorded by the board during 2019 Hajj exercise to support and logistic received from Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
He reaffirmed the determination of the Board to consolidate on the achievement that brought about the award for more optimal performance in future Hajj operations.
Tunde-Jimoh stressed that the presentation of the award was attended by the representative of Governor’s of Yobe, his counterparts from Kaduna State, Saudi Ambassador in Nigeria, and Chairman National Hajj Commission of Nigeria among other dignitaries.
