A grassroots mobiliser, Chief Otunola Adebayo Awoniyi, said the Peoples Democratic Party will record landslide victory in the forthcoming general elections in Kwara State while urging the people to vote for the party’s governorship candidate, Barr. Razak Atunwa.
He stated this in Ilorin yesterday while speaking with newsmen stressing that Atunwa remains the candidate to beat in the contest.
According to him, Atunwa is an outstanding politician who has over the years involved in grassroots politics as former commissioner for Works, Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
Awoniyi noted that, “There is need for Kwarans to desist from campaign of calumny and vote right in the coming elections. His (Atinwa’s) administration will adopt holistic approach to governance that will lead to the provision of the needed infrastructural development and people’s-oriented policies in the state. We must work on how to collectively deliver Kwara to PDP.
“It is crystal clear from all indications that PDP will gallantly demystify opposition political parties in Kwara State. Let’s join hands together to continue to make Kwara great.”
Speaking further, he said the state has enjoyed steady development under the Saraki political leadership stressing that Atunwa will ensure continuity in the areas of welfare, project execution and grassroots development.
He also attributed the overwhelming reception enjoyed by the PDP candidate across the state as manifestation of his acceptance by the people.
