Nurture Learning Academy, a prestigious private school located on Asa Dam road in Ilorin on Friday, July 25 hosted her End-of-the-Year prize giving and graduation ceremony.
The event brought together parents, staff, and well-wishers to honour academic excellence, leadership, character, and service among its learners.
The atmosphere was both festive and reflective, as attendees celebrated the achievements and growth of the young learners throughout the academic session.
Speaking at the ceremony, a lecturer from the Department of Business and Entrepreneurship Education at Kwara State University, Dr. Sikiru Issa Nuhu, charged the Class of 2025 to embrace continuous learning and purposeful living. He described education as a lifelong passport, urging students to remain curious, resilient, and intentional.
Earlier in her address, the founder and proprietress of Nurture Academic, Dr. Ayinke Saka, expressed gratitude to parents and teachers for their supports inbringing the best out of the students and pupils.
In his address, the Head of School, Mr. AbdulAzeez Usman, emphasized the deeper mission of education beyond academics. Quoting Robert John Meehan, he stated, “We are not just teachers; we are the managers of the world’s greatest resource—children.” He noted that the academy is committed to nurturing not only brilliant minds but responsible and value-driven individuals.
Mr. Usman also expressed deep appreciation to the teachers, describing them as “the heartbeat of the school,” and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
