Former Chief of Staff, Government House, Ilorin, Alhaji Ladi Hassan has urged members of the PDP in Kwara State to shun invitation from leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) noting that supporting the party remains the most efficient way to change things for the better in the State of Harmony.
Alhaji Ladi Hassan, a PDP gubernatorial aspirant, urged members of his team and supporters to remain loyal to the party under Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s leadership and ensure continued support for the entire party structures in the state.
He urged PDP members in the state to shun invitation from the ADC leaders and focus on rescuing the state from bad governance through the party as a potent vehicle.
‘We have a record to compare and our party is a potent vehicle to get us back to power and reclaim the state.
The political structure under our leader, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s leadership remains strong and vibrant.
We have a strong presence in the state and this was shown through the high turnout recorded in the registration of new members and ‘membership renewal’ exercise carried out by the state PDP.
We have people who know what it takes to solve Kwara’s problems in our party and we will do this with the needed commitment. Let us remain committed to the PDP and shun invitation from the ADC leaders’ he said.
