Liverpool agree £63m Fekir deal

According to reports in the French press, Liverpool have completed a £63m deal to sign Lyon’s attacker Nabil Fekir.
RMC Sportclaim Liverpool who are also interested in Barcelona’s winger Ousmane Dembele having failed sign a direct replacement for Philippe Coutinho in January have struck a deal with Lyon for skipper Fekir, with the 24-year-old agreeing a five-year contract and keen to move to Anfield.
Interestingly, the report also claims former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier who is an adviser to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has been involved in the deal.
However, Jean-Michel Aulas has denied striking a deal with the Champions League finalists as tweeted via the club’s official Twitter account.
