The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Hon Bashiru Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB) will on Saturday, commission its new secretariat in Ilorin, the state capital.
The secretariat which is located at No 6, Asa Road, GRA, was donated by the Chairman of the Gobir foundation and the Waziri Hausa, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir.
Gobir, a former gubernatorial aspirant of the party in the state said he donated the secretariat as part of his contributions in ensuring the success of the party at all levels.
The event is scheduled to commence at 10:00am.
Among dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who will be the Special Guest of Honour, Nigeria High Commissioner to Malaysia, Alhaji Nurudeen Mohammed, Hon Bolarinwa as the host.
Also expected is the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and other prominent members of the party.
