Muslims have been reminded of the evils of condemning fellow Muslims and to eschew backbiting.
Ustaz Ismael Ibrahim gave the reminder on Friday during Jum’at service at Sheik Abdullah bin Zaid Mosque, Olohunsogo Ilorin.
Ustaz Ibrahim explained that condemnation was a tool devised by shayton to divide the Ummah and distant them from receiving the mercies of Allah (SWT).
While calling on Islamic scholars to re-emphasise the importance of knowledge before propagating Islam, the Islamic cleric noted that giving excuses to erring Muslims and admonishing them was better than open condemnation.
