Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has charged local hunters to protect the Ekiti people against Fulani herdsmen whose killing of innocent Nigerians have been on the rise lately.
In a tweet yesterday, Fayose, said he met with local hunters on the Fulani herdsmen menace and charged them to protect the people since he would not run to anybody in Abuja for help.
”On the herdsmen’s menace, I met with local hunters in Ekiti State today and charged them to protect the people since I won’t run to anyone in Abuja for help that is not available. They must not take laws into their hands, but they should defend Ekiti & its people,” Fayose tweeted.
