Rasaq Lawal, Emir’s daughter visits hospitalised victims, families of APC attack

 

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Ilorin-West/Asa Federal constituency in Kwara state, Alhaji Razaq Lawal and the party’s House of Assembly candidate for Magaji-Ngeri, Hajia Aisha Sulu-Gambari, yesterday visited the victims of the Sunday attacks at the Agbaji family residence of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki who were admitted at the General Hospital, Ilorin.

The victims sustained gunshots injuries from the violent attack on them by suspected political thugs of the factional All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Lawal and Sulu-Gambari who were visibly disturbed when they saw the conditions of the victims expressed sadness over their situation and prayed for quick recovery.

They, however, commended the management and staff of the hospital for the prompt and adequate treatment being received by the victims.

The duo also visited the families of the victims at Agbaji area of Ajikobi in Ilorin-West local government of the state where over 50 vehicles were vandalised.

Lawal sympathised with the families and people of Agbaji community on the unfortunate incident, explaining that, he was out of Ilorin when the incident happened.

He, however, commended the state government, under the leadership of Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed for setting up the Joint Task Force on security to curb incessant political violence in the state.
