The fidau for Alhaji Ahmed, father of Abdulateef Ahmed, a reporter of Herald Newspapers holds 9am at Ile Jagbara, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Wednesday.
The late Ahmed who died at a private hospital in Ilorin at the age of 66 after a brief illness has since been buried according to Islamic injunctions.
The deceased is survived by wife, Alhaja Aminat Ahmed, children and grandchildren. Among whom are Barrister Tunde Ahmed, Mrs. Hawau Ayo Ahmed, Mrs. Mariam Ajumobi, Ramat Abdulraheem, Hajarat Abdulrosheed and Waheed Ahmed.
